The purchasing company ("Licensee") and its subsidiaries, including contractors working on their behalf, may use and adapt the kit internally for any number of products and employees. Licensee may publish documents it produces from the templates (for example its own CVD policy) under its own name. Licensee may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the kit or substantial parts of it. The licence ends automatically if these terms are breached.
THE KIT IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. USING IT DOES NOT BY ITSELF MAKE ANY PRODUCT COMPLIANT WITH THE CRA OR ANY OTHER LAW, AND IT IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE. COMPLIANCE REMAINS THE MANUFACTURER'S RESPONSIBILITY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEN EMBEDDED SOFTWARE LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY RELATING TO THE KIT IS LIMITED TO THE PRICE PAID FOR IT, AND IT IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, RECALLS, SECURITY INCIDENTS, OR REGULATORY FINES OR PENALTIES. Claims may be brought only against Chen Embedded Software LLC, not its members or personnel personally.
These terms are governed by Arizona law; courts in Maricopa County, Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Payment, taxes and refunds are handled by our reseller (Lemon Squeezy) under its buyer terms.
